You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Upload unlawful, infringing, or harmful content;
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation;
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or compromise the service or other users;
• Use the service to harass, abuse, or harm other writers.

4. Content Ownership

You retain full ownership of the stories, chapters, and other content you create. By using the service you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely to operate the collaborative features for you and your invited collaborators.

5. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time; upon deletion, your content is removed from active systems in accordance with our data-retention practices.

6. Disclaimer & Liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cat on Cloud is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. You are encouraged to keep your own backups of important work.

7. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
